20 Nov Thankful and Blessed
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you’re tired and weary,
because it means you’ve made a difference.
I really like this poem. I have always said, if you never experienced sadness, how would you know true joy?
We are very thankful and blessed to have each of you in our lives through this transportation connection. We appreciate knowing you the way we do. We may have never met in person, but sometimes I know more about you than I do those I call friend. We learn and grow every day into being the company that has you sitting back, relaxing, and experiencing the journey.
Thankful to be Unique
I know why I love my company. I think I know why you do. But, I would like to KNOW why.
Please help me out. During this time of Thanksgiving, I want to share with our CIT Family the things we do that make us unique in your eyes. Please click on the title/link above and take 1 minute to tell us why you chose us. Why are we unique?
I LOVE My State
I do, I truly do. Too many people just go THROUGH Iowa on I35 or I80. There is so much beauty here. We are also “Iowa Nice”. It isn’t just a saying – it is TRUE. If you’ve ever witnessed 5 or more combines in a field as they take out the crop of a sick farmer before they take out their own, you know I am right.
I am a proud board member of the Iowa Group Travel Association. We are working hard to bring more groups to Iowa. I was honored to be asked to submit some of my favorite destinations in ABA’s Destination Magazine. I have linked p.52 here, but be sure to look at p. 50, too.
With Veterans day this month,
I feel I would be remiss if I did not recognize how we are blessed to be a transportation provider for our military. The driver pictured here died in 2016. “Mac” was proud of his profession and was honored each time he transported the military. It was a blessing to know him and all his gruff edges. Drivers like Mac, make us a family.
