As an Iowan, we are blessed to experience 4 seasons. This year they seem to be a bit mixed up. What can you do? You can let it bring you down, or embrace it every day. After all, those April showers will bring May flowers. With flowers, we get butterflies.
Do you still have your beloved teddy bear? I do. It looks as good to me now as it did when I was one. However, it is missing eyes, has a hole with stuffing coming out, bare spots, etc… I think you get the picture. Well, we will have a refresh look coming to our website. I still love our current site, but it is time. I can’t wait to share it with you!

Our industry fly-in did not work into our schedule this year. This meant a new opportunity. A change. I flew out with the Ames Chamber delegation. There were about 30 of us petitioning our elected officials. I enjoyed this format, as I was able to learn what is important of other industries.
iTIP held a Capitol visit on April 10th. We were advocating for Iowa tourism, specifically to keep the school start date. Senator Jesse Green always takes the time to listen to my pitch, even though I am not in his district.
