Recently, I’ve been reflecting on 4 years ago. It is mostly related to how I feel today. Why am I tired? Why do my mornings feel rushed? Why am a staying up late to get peace and quiet?
The answer to all of the above is that life is finally feeling more like 2019 and less like the climb back in 2020-2022. (We won’t talk about how I am 5 years older now……)
I always had hope, but it is nice to look back now and think, “See. I told you it would be alright. There is a new sun breaking.”
Like a new sun breaking through the darkest night
Like a whisper saying, “It’ll be alright”
I know you’re tired, I know it hurts
But hold on, that’s when hope returns
And that’s when hope returns
Iowa IS a destination state. I wrote the article below for the American Bus Association, discussing how collaboration will bring Iowa further into the tourism spotlight. It is a 3-5 minute read.
