Relate

We don’t know what it is like to be each other, but we can relate and come together to get the job done.

Last month I talked about how a song stuck with me because I heard it LIVE. This song just makes me think every time I hear it. It brings me comfort. I discussed how I am a “D” personality in the past. I am way more forgiving of others mistakes than my own. This song helps me remember, perfection is not obtained by any of us. (But I’ll keep trying!) ?

As we navigate the road together, piecing together your transportation needs, please know, I understand you don’t know what it is to be me, and I don’t know what it is to be you. But, together, we will create a wonderful road to success!

I don’t know what it’s like to be you
You don’t know what it’s like to be me
What if we’re all the same in different kinds of ways
Can you, can you relate?

Self-care = Work

Maybe you can relate to this piece I wrote. I truly believe work is self-care. (In fact, I’m writing this newsletter at 20:00 while my son is at Faith Formation. Tunes are blasting and the phone is not ringing.)

CIT Signature Transportation

Client Portal is Live

Yes, this is a new video showing you the client portal. Are you using it? Check out all of your existing quotes, booked trips, invoices, and pay online. Great information is at your fingertips.

One of my favorite features is the ability to decrease “potholes” in our road. You can check to see if your trip is booked, or still a quote. Confirm the details of upcoming trips. Have you paid? It is now easy to pay online with your credit card. (Yes, we still accept checks, too.)

Iowa Career Pathways

Yes, we are transportation, but really we are hospitality and tourism. Driver Ashley agreed to represent motorcoach operators on the Iowa Career Pathways website. Driving motorcoaches is not a career people think about. It is a GREAT job with an awesome #ViewFromTheOffice. Don’t believe me? Like us on Facebook and check out the many pictures I pilfer form our drivers.

Iowa

From our friends at Tour Iowa:

Throughout September, Iowans get excited when every leaf changes color because we know fall is coming. October is peak fall color in Iowa. Starting in the north and going south, leaf lovers find a new palette of nature every week. With state parks and windy roads, you can enjoy the color on foot or in car. You can also take a leaf cruise on one of Iowa’s riverboats. And let’s not kid ourselves, we really are enjoying cider, donuts, jams, and pumpkins. This google map is just one such leaf journey along the Mississippi.

I do apologize this section is short this time. Either I’ve been too busy to look at news headlines, or nothing I saw was interesting enough to share. ? Next month….

We both know what it’s like to be hurt
We both know what it’s like to feel pain
But I think it’s safe to say we’re on to better days
